Sara Rose is a 24 year-old Canadian-born musician, songwriter and author.
From Hockley, Ontario, Sara began writing songs, recording, and performing at 10 years of age. While releasing her debut album, Until Now (2018), she began writing her first book So Now What? One Foot in Front of the Other and then went on to release her second album, We Could Be Beautiful (2019). She has worked with producer Dennis Hahn, Sandy Horne of Canadian new wave band The Spoons, Ryan Hancock of the Campfire Poets, and Juno Award nominated and winning producer, contributor in gold and platinum status albums, and top-ten hit 54/40 drummer, Darryl Neudorf.
Emerging Artist of the Year (2019), recipient of the 25 Under 25 Award (2018), nominee for the Reader’s Choice Award (2020), nominee for favourite local artisan and musician (2020) in Orangeville, Ontario, and nominee for NBC The Voice Closed Auditions (2020), Rose holds an Honors Bachelor of Social Work degree (2018) and continues to fulfill a passion for the provision of compassionate palliative care through sitting as Vice President on a not-for-profit hospice’s Board of Directors and continuing to host Hope through Harmonies, an annual benefit concert she founded in 2017.
Sara's book, So Now What? One Foot in Front of the Other is set to publish in late 2020. She is in the beginning stages of working on a project with retired Toronto morning radio host, inspirational speaker, voice artist, and bestselling author, Erin Davis.
